Charity Bib Program

Orca Running is excited to introduce a new Charity Bib Program in partnership with the REI Cooperative Action Fund. This is your chance to run one of our races while helping to increase inclusivity and expand access to the outdoors for all.

What races have Charity Bibs?

Snoqualmie Valley Half (06/20) — Two charity bibs available

Iron Horse Half (08/30) — Four charity bibs available

Orca Half (09/19 & 09/20) — Four charity bibs available

Lake Washington Half (10/17) — Four charity bibs available

What do Charity Bib participants need to do?

Charity Bib participants commit to raising $1,000 for the REI Cooperative Action
Fund—and in return, you’ll receive some great race-day perks!

Charity Bib Participant Perks!

  • VIP Parking – Race Day parking sucks, we get it. As a Chairty Bib participant
though? You’ll get access to a reserved parking space.
  • Exclusive Goodie Bag – Once you finish your race, you’ll find a goodie bag at
    the finish line!
  • Charity Bib Tent Access – What is more appealing than reserved parking? A
personal Finish Line tent. We know, we are totally speaking your language.
  • Gear Check at the Charity Bib Tent – Oops, we did it again. We made this even better. Skip the Gear Check line and check your bag at the Charity Bib tent.
  • Free Bib Mailing – Wow. Even as I am writing this, I am jealous. You also get to skip Packet Pick-up!
  • 25% Off a Future Orca Running Event – After you finish your race, we will send you a code for 25% off a future race. Simply as a thank you for helping us give back.

Spots are limited and will go quickly. If you’re ready to run for a cause email Leah at
leah@orcarunning.com to get signed up.

Interested in giving back but don’t want to sign up for a Charity Bib? You can always
donate directly to the REI Cooperative Action Fund here.
